Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Tony Bradley ("we") for using Orbit on the web and on iOS. By creating an account you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
Who can use Orbit
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms for you, including any purchase.
Your account
Keep your password private and your details accurate. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings.
Fair play
Orbit only works if planets mean real focus. Don't:
- cheat the timer, fake activity, or use scripts, bots or modified clients;
- harass, threaten or impersonate other people, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content in names, crew names or session notes;
- try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to Orbit or other people's accounts;
- resell or commercially exploit Orbit without our written permission.
We may remove content, reset progress gained by cheating, or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Stardust and planets
Stardust, planets and species are earned only by focusing. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold or transferred, and aren't property. We may rebalance prices, rewards and planet types to keep the game fair.
Orbit Pro
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe. It renews until you cancel. Cancel anytime; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- On the web, billing and cancellation run through Stripe (Settings → Manage subscription). On iOS, they run through your Apple ID settings.
- Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
- We'll give you notice before a price change applies to your subscription.
The AI coach
The coach uses an AI model to suggest a study plan. Its suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. It isn't academic, medical or professional advice, and you decide what to do with it.
Your content
You own what you type into Orbit. You give us permission to store and process it to run Orbit for you, including showing your public universe and your status to people in your crews and live sessions.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Orbit running, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable or change. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a material change to these terms, we'll tell you in the app first. Continuing to use Orbit after that means you accept the new terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or progress, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Orbit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise. Questions: support@orbitfocusapp.com.
